They’re looking for really strong Songs that are Down-to-Mid Tempo and could generally be found on a playlist with these references:

Note: The show’s production company routinely takes 100% of the Publisher’s share of songs that get placed on the show. You’ll keep 100% of the Writer’s share and get the full sync fee (up to $15,000 – we double checked!).“Photograph” by Ed Sheeran

“Stay” by Rihanna ft. Mikky Ekko

“All of Me” by John Legend

Please submit heartfelt, emotionally powerful Ballads with a fresh, modern melody and a super-captivating radio-ready chorus that’s as big as it gets. Your song should have a really compelling vocal performance if you want to land a placement on this show.

Lyric themes should be something that has real substance and strong emotional pull. Lyrics that avoid specific names, places, dates, times, brands, and profanity will work best. Do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a guide for tempo, texture, and tone. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine).

This Production Company offers an EXCLUSIVE publishing agreement with a 50/50 split. You’ll get 100% of the Writer’s share, and the Publisher will get 100% of the Publisher’s share. Because this is an Exclusive deal, please do NOT submit music for this pitch that is already signed to any other Libraries or Publishers. You must own or control your Copyright and Master recording. Please submit one to three Songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT), on Thursday, April 20th, 2017.
